| BIOGRAPHY
I studied law at the universities of Ghent (RUG 1988) and Brussels (ULB
1990). I then went on to obtain a postgraduate degree from the University
of London (King’s College) and a specialisation in company law (Brussels).
I have also followed a course in management at the Vlerick Management
School.
From 1992 to 1996 I worked as a lawyer in what is now one of the country’s
larger practices. Since then I have worked as an in-house lawyer for two
telecommunications companies with both Belgian and European competency.
Since 1 January 2004 I am once again working as a lawyer in Brussels.
I have long been interested in the possibilities offered by shareholders’
agreements and I have written several publications on the subject.
